Why I’m Losing Weight
First, my health was rapidly going downhill. The heavier I got, the worse my health was getting. I was paper healthy for a long time, meaning that my blood work always came back fine when I had physicals, but things started getting ugly in my twenties. Here’s the list of health issues that I am currently being treated for:
- Depression
- High Anxiety (I don’t believe this is due to my obesity)
- Sleep Apnea
- Hypothyroidism (my body doesn’t produce enough thyroid)
- High Blood Pressure
- Low testosterone levels
In addition to my health problems, there were other things that I got fed up with, such as:
- not fitting in chairs with arms (which I still have issues with)
- not being able to sit in restaurant booths
- getting out of breath very easily (this is pretty much a non-issue now)
- dreading walking up hills and stairs
- not being able to ride in a plane
- not being able to go to sporting events/concerts/shows because of the seating
- being alone… I didn’t want to date (and no girls wanted to date me) weighing in at 632 lbs
I got fed up with my weight interfering with everything!
I WANT FREEDOM!!!
Now you’re probably wondering, “How are you losing the weight?”
