Dr. Dan is helping me to get back on track. I’ve been in a pattern of doing well Monday through Wednesday or Thursday, then binge eating over the weekend. We figured out that I was over-restricting the first part of the week to make up for the weekend binges. I was so hungry at the end of the week that I would eat everything in site. He said this is a classic bulimic pattern.
I’m anxious to get my back fixed and get back to exercising. I’m miserable without exercise. My myelogram is scheduled for Wednesday and I’m hoping to have my surgery the following Wednesday. Every day I get a little more nervous about these procedures, but I know I’m in good hands.
I’m confident that everything in my life is moving in the right direction. I’m taking baby steps toward my destination. Slowly, patiently, I’ll get there. One day at a time.
