A lot of undesirable events happened in my world last week, the loss of a friend, work stuff, a confrontation, and other stuff. Thus I turned to my coping mechanism this weekend, binge eating. Doughnuts, Chinese food, and pizza will make the pain and frustration go away, right?
I’ll bounce back, although I can’t take much more crap. Maybe I need to lower my expectations.
An update about my back: I never could get a hold of anyone at the surgeons office, thus increasing my frustration. I might have to find someone else, although trust has been established with my provider.
One funny thought I had the other day when I was extremely frustrated was, “I wish I could workout.” I have my best workouts when I’m hurting. However, the back injury makes exercise a no-no for the moment.
