What a fantastic morning! For starters, I listened to that Gitomer video on positivity that I shared yesterday, a couple of times on my drive to the Lakeshore Trail. Then I got my run on. The weather was fantastic for a morning run. The sun was out, there was a nice light breeze, the trees were beautiful, and the birds were flying around and chirping. I just relaxed as I ran at a slow, steady pace. I didn’t listen to music. I just enjoyed the ability to run and soaked up all the awesomeness that was surrounding me.
I ran 2 miles in almost 40 minutes, a very slow pace, because I’m still not 100%. I’m still feeling congested from this never-ending cold. However, I got my run done, which is all that mattered.
Time to rock this day. Be on the lookout for another post later today.

Wsh I could exercise in the morning but my workday starts at 6. I just can’t do 4 am workouts anymore. Lol. BUT, evening is a great time for it. Tonight will be easy, a walk/run then an hour playing Wii fit.
Sounds like an awesome start! Yes, I exercised this morning. An hour of BodyPump and now I have all day to recover
If I get home from my business trip on time, I hope to squeeze in a hot yoga class too. It helps to stretch my sore muscles and sweat out the stress.
Ugh. I was up at 5 to get to the gym before Bean woke up. Today was first day of “weight training.” Trying something new that is a circuit from runner’s world. But I’m probably the weakest I’ve ever been so it wouldn’t have matter much if I had just started my old routine again. Had a funny thought, though, while trying to hold a plank position with my feet on a bench. “Be careful about making your arms mad. One day they may just let your fall on your face.”
Love this section of Lakeshore. Can’t wait to get started running again.
Sounds like ideal running conditions. I love running outside when it’s calm, peaceful and all you can hear and feel is nature.

I wish I could find the time for AM workouts during the week, but getting up at 5 AM for work (and getting there just in time) is early enough for me.. I’d probably be needing to go to bed at 8 PM if I was getting up any early.
Looking forward to my workout tonight though!
