IronTribe CrossFit 101 WOD 3

Today’s WOD:

  • 3 Rounds
  • Row 200 Meters
  • 10 Air Squats
  • 20 Dead Lifts #95

Guess what??? I RX’d today!!!

What does that mean?

I did the workout as prescribed. I didn’t have to scale down. Also, I didn’t finish last!! My time was 9:10

I don’t really view myself as competing with everyone, but it felt nice not to be the final person to finish. I’m so used to being the last person at group runs and so far at the WOD’s. It felt good to finally not be last, and then go encourage others.

After today’s workout, I’ve had a little more pep in my step. I’ve been on cloud nine.

I look forward to Monday’s workout!!

I discussed with a friend after the workout about how I love that I have no clue what workout we will be doing. All I have to do is show up. There’s less chance that I’ll talk myself out of going when I don’t know what our workout is.

That’s great! I’d feel darned proud of myself too for not finishing last, because I am, in pretty much everything physical that I do, sloooooow… lol.

Keep it up!

Hey, you are doing such good work outs. I’m really proud of you. I lost 130 pounds two years ago and have let myself go and gained 80 of it back. I have all these clothes I had to put away that don’t fit, had to buy new ones and that has convinced me that I am getting back on track come Monday. I have a Dr appt in two weeks, went this past Thrusday because of a chest pain, now know its stress related which I know is caused partly because of my weight and fear I will have a heart attact or a stroke. I am going back to WW to help be accountable and can only do upper body exercises except for walking because of a IT Band injury that will not let me excercise my leg. But I lost over 75 pounds before I joined the gym so I know I can do it again. Anyway, good luck and I’m glad I get to see how you are doing.
Denise
