Sometimes I just need my ass chewed out. I’m back on track.
Yesterday, I played basketball for 30 minutes and walked for 30 minutes.
Today, I’ll be heading over to the Mercedes Marathon health expo to sign up for tomorrow’s 5k and hopefully find a shirt or something in my size.
Also, I’m almost out of food, so I HAVE GOT TO GO TO THE GROCERY STORE TODAY!! I’m not a fan of grocery shopping, but it must be done.
I’ve got my food plan together for today, and I’m about to go walk for an hour.
When my buddy Joe gave me a one day lesson on project management, one of the main points that I remember is that all of the little details matter and basically add up to the bigger picture. So, as much as we may dread planning our meals, exercising, etc. Those daily little details add up… They are all very important.

Everyone needs a good ass chewing now and then
Great job getting back on track! I need to go grocery shopping asap too.
What happened to counting those streaks? Are you not doing that anymore?
Hey, I’ll chew your ass out if you need it (and not in a gay way).
A tip: look at the flyers for the week, and see what is on sale at the grocery stores nearby. Use these to help plan your food for the week, BEFORE you go to the store. Then, stick to the list you made BEFORE you went to the store, and only buy items that will be part of your meal plan for the week. I find this helps me save a lot of money, and I avoid bringing trigger foods into the house. I offer healthy options to guests, so I don’t have the excuse of needing to have junky food for visitors. After all, if I think it is not good for me, I don’t think I should be serving it to other people. Good on you for all the exercise!
