I had the pleasure of hanging out with some cool peeps last night. We toasted Rebecca’s 23rd birthday at Lou’s Pub in Lakeview.
Beer Tip (fail)
Jennifer mentioned a new diet tip that she heard about beer. She said it was better to drink high gravity beer because you don’t drink as much, thus reducing your caloric intake. However, this tip did not work for me. I pretty much drank the same volume of high gravity that I do of my tried and true light beer, and I love the taste of Delirium Tremens, but man did I have a buzz. (The two shots of tequila didn’t help either.) So, that tip does not work for me, next time I’ll stick with my light beer.
Haters
Some people think that I shouldn’t drink alcohol, but I do better on my weight loss when I allow that one time per week to drink. Sometimes, I have to unwind and enjoy an ice cold refreshing beer.
I didn’t realize how much my face has gone down until I saw these pics. It’s wonderful to be getting some results.

I don't know if someone suggesting you don't drink should be considered a hater? Wouldn't that be the opposite? Ok, so maybe not necessarily a lover, but someone concerned? Some people out there really feel strongly that the calories in beer/liquor are not helpful during a weight loss journey.
I've cut way back on my drinking, but I still enjoy it now and then. You can't cut it out completely if you enjoy it.
You do your own thing and you've made that clear here. People can suggest, but you don't have to list.
