Giveaway
While I was in Nashville, Tennessee for the 2010 Country Music Marathon, I purchased a few goodies at the Health Expo for giveaways, and finally after a couple of weeks, I am ready to give these items away.
Up for grabs in this giveaway:
- 1 Pink BondiBand Headband with black skull graphic
- 2 Run Happy Tees Can Koozies
The two images below on the left are the giveaway items, they illustrate the front and backsides of the can koozies.
To enter, just leave a comment about how much exercise you do every week.
Men, you are certainly welcome to enter for this giveaway, however, you may be more interested in the 2nd give away that will start on Thursday. It’s the same type of items, but they are more masculine.
The image on the far right is a dork that doesn’t shave on the weekend. He’s showing off what the headbands look like. You know I had to get one for myself. Pink’s not my color, so I got the black headband with white text: “Will Run for Beer”
Rules
U.S. Residents only. One entry per person. Entries must be received by Wednesday, May 12th at 9:00pm CST. Winner will be announced on Thursday’s post and has until Sunday to contact me.

I do 6 (50min) water aerobic classes a week, and hit the gym 3 days a week with about 50-60mins of wieghts each visit. I average 8hrs of workouts a week
I love that PINK HEADBAND!!!
Sweet! What a fun giveaway!
How much exercise I do every week:
Monday: walking at work during lunchtime (30 minutes)
Tuesday: Gym 1 hour, yoga 1 hour (120 minutes)
Wednesday: Gym 1 hour (60)
Thursday: Walk at work during lunchtime (30 minutes)
Friday: Gym 1 hour (60)
Saturday: Outdoor activity of my choice (cycling, rollerblading, canoeing, hiking) (60 minutes)
Sunday: Outdoor activity of my choice (60 minutes)
Total: 420 minutes on average, but often longer because sometimes I go for 12-hour hikes or a 4-hour canoe trip, etc. I might get a short walk in after work with neighbors sometimes, too. Sometimes this amount is shorter, depending on my social calendar and how that affects my scheduled gym time.
I love that run like a mother shirt.
I do one hour and 15 minutes of exercise minimum six days a week.
You follow me on My Daily Mile so you may already remember how much exercise I do weekly but I'll repeat because you probably have zillions of people following the blog.
I usually do 1/2 hour @ 4:30am on the elliptical trainer set at 9-7 (a bit over 3 miles usually) Monday through Friday. Then at about 5:45 pm when I finally get off work I work out with weights and cardio for about an hour to an hour and 1/2 I usually log another 2-3 miles then. I have been riding my bike to the gym in the evening now that the weather is better also. On weekends things are different. Saturdays I do weights and cardio in the morning @ 7 am leaving the rest of the day for whatever physical activity comes my way, walking, kayaking, biking whatever I can do that day. Sundays are supposed to be a rest day but I usually end up doing something active because now that I can walk again I don't want to waste time being a couch potato!
I vary, I zumba one night a week, go horseback riding once a week and gym it 3 times a week
To be honest, my exercise is nearly non-existent. I plan on rectifying that this week though
I love pink! but ahem…… I love beer more! lol
I try and use my elliptical trainer for 25 minutes and do some work on an exercise ball about 5 times a week but to be totally honest, life and two small kids get in the way and it is more like 3 times a week. Lifting a 35lb girl in my arms 20 times a day has got to count for something though, right?
With two young kids each week varies but on average I do cardio 4 times a week (45 mins each) and 2 days strength training.
My goal is to do some kind of exercise 5 times a week, with a minimum of 4. That could be walking, the elliptical, biking.
My goal is to do the Couch to 5K program 4 days a week in order to run my first 5K in August! I'd also like to get back to doing water aerobics on the days I am not training.
I know I really should do more excerise but I walk 1 mile everyday with my two yr old daughter. I didnt do that until earlier this month when the doctor told me I had to start watching what my daughter ate. I do not want her to become like me. Im proud of you and how you can do it yourself. I also ried out for BL10 and got a VIP pass but was not chosen.
I'm up to about 60 mins of cardio daily; 10 mins of stretching. Now, it's time to start adding in some weights.
Thanks for the shot!
Hi there! Just found your blog and love it! Thanks for the motivation! I try to do cardio 4-5 times a week and also incorporate more movement daily (park farther away, walk to get my kids from school, etc…) Thanks!
Hey! I am so happy I found your blog. I myself am trying to lose weight and I have a lot to lose. I just found something fun that I like to do which is Cardio Kickboxing which I do twice a week and then I try and walk 2-3 times a week. Can't wait to keep up with your blogs!
Sweating to 3 days of cardio!!
I swim 2x a week, run 2-3 times a week, walk all the time, and recently started biking every weekend!
