10k is tomorrow

Well, the 10k is in the morning. That’s 6.4 miles.

This will be my longest walk thus far, and it is kicking off my new training. The transformation begins.

If I can’t make it, it’ll be okay. I am completely unprepared for the walk, but let’s see what happens. I know that I can get at least half of the walk done.

I also have to work after the race. So we’ll see how that goes, but as a friend told me today, I have to take care of business.

Let’s do this.

  • 6.4...6.4....6.4 that is a lot of miles. But a 10K is only 6.2 miles. You can do it. Very Doable.

    YOU CAN DO THE ENTIRE 10K...bring lots of good upbeat tunes on your I pod and don't even think about it. YOU CAN FINISH IT!!Think how great you will feel if you do the whole thing. NO WAY you couldve done it before.

    However long you walk, ask yourself if you could have gone anywhere near that far 1 year ago. I bet you know the answer to that one!

  • Have fun with your walk! That's a pretty amazing distance! I honestly can't remember the last time I walked that far in one go (without several stops for coffee!)
