Slow day at work today and I’ve got an ear ache. Instead of going to the doctor for antibiotics, I am trying over the counter ear drops and Advil. Hopefully this will go away quickly.
Dancing with the stars is pretty good this year. Steve W from Apple is hilarious. “The Geeks shall inherit the earth.” Priceless.

Watched Darlington NASCAR race at Bob’s today. Good conversation and good racing. I’m glad that Johnson won. I’m not a Hamlin fan.
Did not clean my room. Nor did I setup my drums. Oh well.
I hope you have a good week!

Today was better than yesterday. Business was slow today. So slow that I watched “In the Line of Fire” and “The Siege” on HULU. I paused the movie if I had a customer or phone call. It was quite enjoyable.
I think I might clean my room this weekend so I can set up my drum set. It’s been a long time since I played them.
Finally, I am feeling a lump in my throat, which is what happened when I was having thyroid problems. Hopefully it’s just a side effect from missing my thyroid meds a few days ago. If I must have my thyroid removed it will probably put me in bankruptcy because surgery is extremely expensive and I don’t have health insurance.
I hate our health care system. I don’t agree with national health care, but I hate the fact that hospitals charge an ungodly amount of money to be hospitalized, and that they will accept like a quarter of the original bill from insurance companies. I bet if an uninsured patient proposed the same offer, the hospital would want full payment.
A buddy of mine had a device implanted in his back for pain. The surgery took one afternoon and he spent the night in the hospital. His bill was $99,000. Can you belive that sh**! But that’s not all, the hospital accepted $18,000 from his insurance company. Now, I wonder if the hospital would accept $18,000 from an uninsured individual. I guess someone has to pay the college tuition bills for the hospital administrator’s children.
Well, I’ll get off my soap box now. I hope you have a great weekend. I’ll be back tomorrow.

I’ve been noticing that my shirts are longer and my pants are getting loose. This is great!
Today was rainy, so I didn’t walk much.
I’ve noticed that I feel better when I drink water throughout the day instead of waiting until the end of the day to drink.
Today was a SSDD kind of day.

Today was insane. Thankfully I was extremely busy at work. I missed my walk(s) around the mall today. Tomorrow I plan on doing a double walk.

I was busy at work today. So busy that I skipped my first snack and didn’t walk until 4:30. However, I did get my stairs in first thing this morning.
Went and bought a pedometer today to track my step counts. There’s a widget on the right side of my blog that will contain my step counts. I’m still taking it easy on the exercise this month. I’ll have one more month of the basics, and then next month I am really going to step up the walking. Right now I am walking aprx 1/3 to 1/2 a mile per day. Next month I want to be walking one mile per day, even if it’s 2 half mile walks per day.
I hope you had a great Monday. Thank you for reading.

I enjoyed watching the Bristol NASCAR race today at Bob’s. The only bad thing that happened was Kyle Bush won.
Been workin on the blog today. I took the milestone list off the side bar and moved them to the My Goals and Milestones section listed in the New Readers Start Here section. Check out the pics, I photoshoped my face into some of the pics.
Well, I’ve got to get some shuteye. Talk to my peeps tomorrow.
